Ginkgo biloba ‘Slovakian Princess’ was discovered approximately 15 years ago by Rich Eyre, Rich's Fox Willow Pines Nursery, 11618 McConnell Rd, Woodstock, IL 60098, United States of America. He said ‘This plant I found some 15+ years ago, Slovakian princess, named for my wife Susie. I selected it for darkness of leaf, denseness, and leaf substance’.
 
Description - Ginkgo biloba ‘Slovakian Princess’ is a very distinctive dwarf Ginkgo with small multiple lobed leaves. It has dense foliage and compact growth. Ginkgo biloba ‘Slovakian Princess’ has an annual growth rate of 2.5 cm to 5 cm a year. In 10 years this attractive dwarf may have reached attained a hight of 50 cm – 60 cm with a slightly greater spread. The maximum size will be a height of 1.2 to 1.8 m and a spread of 90 to 120 cm. This plant does regularly produce good autumn colour.
