Ginkgo biloba 'Saratoga' is a male form, it orginated at the Saratoga Horticultural Foundation, Saratoga, Califoirnia in the U.S.A. and was first introduced in 1975. It has inresting narrow bilobed foliage. Overall the plant has a dense compact habit with accending branches, it usually mantains a central leader. 'Saratoga' is failry slow growing, however it is suggested that it may reach a height of 12 m with a spread of  9 m. In most years it exhbits very good autumn colour.
