Ginkgo bilobaPevé Maribo’. There is no confusion regarding the origin of this plant.  Piet Vergeldt found this sport growing on the ever-popular dwarf Ginkgo biloba ‘Mariken’ (another of his introductions from his nursery in Lottum, in The Neterlands).

DescriptionGinkgo biloba ‘Pevé Maribo’ has creamy yellow variegation, which can be quite unstable (and reversion is an issues with this cultivar it does have a habit of reverting back to Ginkgo biloba ‘Mariken’) despite its bad habist in 2010 The American Conifer Society (ACS) named it ACS Collectors’ Conifer of the year. The growth rate is 10 cm a year, it goes on to form a beautiful, dense and compact plant 1.2 m in height and spread.

As with all vriegated Ginkoes we cannoy gaurentee that it will retain it variegation, but when it does it is certainally very attractice.
