Ginkgo biloba 'Obelisk' is a slow growing fastigiate male form originating from Italy. It is a perfect specimen tree for small to medium sized gardens.
 
Description - The foliage tends to be smaller than the species and has a variety of different shapes, some leaves being trilobed, other bilobed, closely arranged on the stems. It has a very upright, tight fastigiate habit producing only a few side branches. It is slow growing producing 15 cm – 18 cm of growth a year. Some sources suggest it will attain a hight of 3m in 10 years. We think it is more realistic to expect 2 m in height, with a spread of 0.6 m
