Ginkgo biloba 'Lil Matthew' is a good slow growing dwarf cultivar introduced from the U.S.A. in 2015. It was listed as far back as 2007 by Arrow Alpines, Fowlerville, Michigan, United States of America, but the exact origins of this plant are not known.
Description - Ginkgo biloba 'Lil Matthew' has a deeply bi-lobed, slightly cupped, dark green leaves. The annual growth rate can be as much as 15 cm a year (in nursery conditions). Whilst the eventual height and spread are not known this plant is not expected to exceed a height of 2 m, with a similar spread in 10 years. This is another plant that is well suited to growing in a container.
