Ginkgo biloba 'Kristina' is a dwarf cultivar originating from Illinois in the U.S. which we beive was discovered by Dax Herb, presumably as a witch’s broom. Other sources suggest that it is a ‘New selection from Hungary about which little is known’. At present the sex is not known.

Description - The leaves tend to be large and wide, between 5cm and 13cm, they are thicker than the species. The growth rate is 25cm - 50 cm a year. Estimates of eventual height and spread vary from 3m to 8m. It is likely that with an annual growth rate and an upright, but irregular habit, the hight in 10 years will be in the regions of 3m - 4m
