Ginkgo biloba 'King of Dongting', despite the name it is a female cultivar originating from China, named after the Dongting Mountains. It is a slow growing slection that produces large leaves and matures at an early age and be ready to bear fruit in 10 years, once pollinated by a male. Expect it to grow up to 10 m high and 6 m in spread. It can also be grown in containers, which will restrict it size by fifty percent. In the autumn it produces rich autumn colour.
