Ginkgo biloba 'Golden Dragon'. The origin of this plant are not known.
Description - Ginkgo biloba 'Golden Dragon' is a female. The foliage should have cream variegation on the leaves, some leaves produced can be completely variegated and these become scotched in sunlight marring the appearance of the plant. Occasionally leaves can be plain green in some years and the following year from the same sites on the branch the leaves will be variegated. The growth rate varies depending of the extent of variegation, but averages at approximately 20cm - 30 cm. All the plants we have in the collection have been top-worked and grow as standard trees, however it will eventually become a rounded shrub with a hight and spread of 2.5m in 10 years.
As with all variegated cultivars it is impossible to gaurentee the extend of variegation.
