Ginkgo biloba  ‘Folker’s Selection’ ? syn. ‘Clica’ was discovered as a broom on a large tree in the Arnold Arboretum in Boston, Massachusetts. USA. It was originally named Ginkgo biloba ‘Folker’s Selection’. Information has recently been received from Meuter Nursery Geusert 7a, 6093NR Heythuysen, Netherlands to suggest that this cultivar was renamed Ginkgo biloba ‘Clica’ from 2011.

 

Description – Ginkgo biloba ‘Folker’s Selection’ Syn. ‘Clica’. This is a dwarf, very slow growing variety with small, 3-4 cm large leaves that are ruffled. The plant bears lots for branches. The annual growth rate can vary from 10cm to 20cm. The overall effect is a well balanced plant.
