Ginkgo biloba ‘Chub’s Dwarf’ originated from the United States of America and was discovered (probably as a witch’s broom) and propagated by Justin “Chub” Harper. He donated his entire collection in 1980. and the original plant can be seen at The Harper Collection at Hidden Lake Gardens, Tipton, Michigan. United States of America. A 755-acre Arboretum & Botanical Garden with collections of rare conifers, Hostas & Bonsai. This is operated by Michigan State University.

 

The plant in the National Collection of Ginkgo biloba and Cultivars was produced from a scion kindly provided by Mr. Charles Hunter, from the United Sates of America.
