Ginkgo biloba ‘Celeia’ comes from the United States of America and very little is known about its origins. The specimen in The National Collection of Ginkgo biloba and Cultivars was purchased from Mr. Dieck at Herrenkampner Gärten, 27254 Siedenburg, Germany.

 

Description - Ginkgo biloba ‘Celeia’ produces foliage that is typical for the species. The size of the leaves are usually about 8.5cm. Early indications are that it has an open upright habit. The growth rate can vary from 10cm to 30cm a year, therefore it is expected to be in the regions of 2m -3m high in 10 years, with a spread of approximately 1m – 1.5m
