This was found in a yard at exit 21 on interstate 65 in Brooks, Kentucky, U.S.A. by Paul Cappiello and first propagated by Ben Cecil. Little is known about the age or growth rate of the original tree, but it is approximately 30m high and 5m to 6m wide.

Description - Ginkgo biloba 'Brooks’ whilst we have not had this tree long and it is still under observation, it appears to be one of the tightest, narrowest and densest columnar forms of Ginkgo so far. The growth rate is between 30cm - 45 cm (under nursery conditions).
