Ginkgo biloba 'Boleslaw Chrobry' is a Polish variety, selected in Poznan at the University of Life Sciences, Wojska Polskiego 28, 60-624 Poznań, Poland circa 2007. It is recommended for large gardens and open spaces where the habit can be fully admired.

Description - Ginkgo biloba 'Boleslaw Chrobry' is characterised by thicker, jagged irregular leaves. It is a very decorative cultivar and an elegantly-weeping, irregular growing tree. If a central leader is maintained it will continue to grow in height, possibly as much as 12m (however this has not been substantiated). The growth rate varies from 45cm - 60 cm a year. In 10 years, it is likely to be 3m - 4m high. The autumn colour is also excellent with this relatively new cultivar.
