Ginkgo biloba 'Umbrella' syn. 'Santa Cruz' is is a female tree discovered in Santa Cruz, California in the U.S.A.  Initially upright in growth, then spreading in habit, hence the common name 'Umbrella Ginkgo'.  It can be grown in a container and is suitable for garden use. Grows 2 to 3 m in10 years. The eventual size is not yet known. It turns a rich golden yellow in the autumn.  Note: Somteimes incorrectly named 'Umraculifera'
